Ms. Cock Block

I had my very first Mango burger Tuesday night before heading out for the evening.  Did some little one offs popping in for a beer at a few different places.  Ended up on my way back soi 11 around midnight and went into Spice.  It was completely dead which wasn’t surprising considering how early it was.

One of the girls who works there started chatting me up and dancing at my table.  I wasn’t really interested but it beat being alone.  Eventually even her company couldn’t make up for the crappy band and lack of energy so I told her I would come back around two when things were a little more lively.

Thought about heading over to the G-Club St. Moritz to see if they wouldn’t give me a tour.  I’m not a local so I don’t think I would want to do the full membership package but with the tourist high-season being so low this year I figured it might be worth the effort to see if they could offer me something that was more appropriate for the length of my stay.  Right as I rounded the corner to go in the back entrance they killed the lights.  I checked my watch and it was a little after one.  Oh well.

Went back to the hotel and sorted out a few emails while I fixed myself a Johnny and Coke.  Around 2:30 I went back down to Spice.

The gal from before was there (which makes sense since she works the door and shows people to tables) and she wanted to continue where we left off.  I’m assuming that I didn’t seem too enthused with that because she called one of her friends over to occupy me while she took off to go do something.  I never saw her again.  Her friend was in the same uniform she was so I assume she worked there as well but didn’t ask.  In fact, we really didn’t talk much at all.  She just danced around my table, smiled a lot, and snapped her fingers to call over a waiter whenever my drink ran low.

The club was much busier than before.  It was actually going pretty good and if it weren’t for the techno / trance music I might have even felt like dancing.

Around 4am I started inquiring into whether or not my private dancer would be interested in leaving with me when they closed.  She said she can’t because they have to close up the place and it would be awhile.  Oh well.

One of the benefits of having her calling the waiters over is that they had stationed themselves close to my table.  When she left I chatted with the two Thai blokes for a bit and then thought about leaving.

Just as I had gulped down the last of my Jack and Coke and started to head towards the door one of my new friends yelled after me “Hey, I think girl like you.”  I turn around and he’s pointing over to a girl who is dancing by herself.  I’m not sure if it’s redundant to say a Thai girl has a nice smile but she really did.  And she was giving me the aren’t-I-cute eyes.  I walked over and we chatted a bit, then danced a bit, and eventually I brought her over to my table and ordered us a round of drinks and a round for my two Thai girl spotters who I had to thank for the introduction.

She’s a Chiang Mai girl and has all the typical beautiful Chiang Mai features minus the height.  She’s here in Bangkok going to beautician school and she hopes to open her own shop one day.  I love the beautician girls because they love to look good which she did.

Somewhere in getting to know each other we started making out a bit.  When she asked where I was staying I knew I didn’t need to ask whether or not she was up for leaving with me.  Only there was a problem.  She had come with a friend.

The friend was cute but a little older than Chiang Mai girl.  Oh, and she was pretty drunk.  Well, a lot drunk to be honest.  Every so often she would come over and try to pull Chiang Mai girl away with her back to her table.  This might be a problem.

I convinced Chiang Mai girl that it might be best if we put her friend in a cab and got her home.  I acted as if I was concerned about how drunk her friend was but my intentions were anything but altruistic.  She was trying to cock-block me and the sooner I got rid of her the sooner Chiang Mai girl and I could go back to my place.

Whenever you really want to leave a place it always seems like it takes forever to actually get someone out the door.  There’s always that one song that she just has to dancer to before leaving.  Oh and then she just wants to go to the bathroom before she leaves.

Ms. Cock-Block was using every trick she could.

After what seemed like an eternity I finally get them both outside and out to the taxi queue on soi 11.  I’m trying to pour the little lush into a taxi when she decides she needs to eat before she can go home and she insists that we come with her to eat.  Arghhhhhhh!!!!

We grab a street vendor booth on Sukhumvit and the two of them order half the menu and I tell the drink lady to keep a steady supply of Jack and Cokes coming to the table.

Ms Cock-Block is obviously in no hurry to finish her meal and things drag on and on.  A roaming musician walks by and she begins insisting that he come to our table and play.  Another distraction so she can prolong the meal.

She keeps asking him to play Hotel California but he doesn’t know the words.  He can play it.  He just can’t sing it.  That doesn’t stop her from requesting the song and demanding that he sing it something like 20 times.  Supposedly her ex-boyfriend was from California and the song reminds her of him.  Whoever you are California boy, thanks a lot for nothing, dude.

It’s about 7am now and it started to get daylight at this point.  Ms Cock Block would have had lunch there if I hadn’t insisted to Chiang Mai girl that I simply couldn’t take anymore and needed to pee.  Since there was no place to pee I needed to go back to the hotel and she could either stay with Ms Cock Block or she could come with me.  I got a sense she had grown a little tired of the antics as well and we were both now forcing Ms Cock Block into a taxi.  She attempted a few more stalling moves but we finally wore her down and she shut the door and was finally gone.

Other than that it was a great night 🙂

vx24: I’m going to guess lighter skin and different facial bone structure. Also, many girls from Chiang Mai tend to be taller than average. Not giants but a bit taller.
